Breeder Cocks
We will have a clutch of BCM Juvenile roosters available in the Spring of 2026 probably end of April/May. They are approximately 16 to 20 weeks old (they can be older). Shipping IS NOT included and is a post sale transaction/expense. It will be determined at the time the bird is shipped. **Some of the photos are from customers. These are the BCM cockerels once they became breeding age. **

Our BackCross Olive Egger rooster is our darkest rooster from our Olive Egger program that produces those dark, rich chocolate eggs. Use him over your chocolate layers to make more or use him in your Olive Egger program to make deeper, richer Olive Eggers.
Our Black Copper Marans roosters are hatched from our dark lines. We handle our birds daily from the day they hatch, however, they leave us as juveniles. We do not have control over their personality once their hormones kick in so we don't guarantee anything but we do breed for good-natured and non-aggressive roosters. We handle them daily from chicks until they are sold. Aggressive roosters are dispatched.
These become available twice a year; in the spring and in the fall, after we select which ones we will retain for our breeding program. We may have some older roosters available too that are heading into their second breeding season. You can pre-order yours, there is limited availability of these roosters.
*WE can ship but will not be responsible if the bird dies during transit (we haven't lost a bird yet).
Please READ our Shipping Policy below BEFORE checking out. Indicate in the notes at check out if you are planning on picking up, which is FREE, or shipping. Include your address, email and phone number if you are shipping. Shipping cost will be calculated and collected at the time of shipping the rooster. The cost of shipping largely depends on the size of the bird and the distance you are from South Carolina. The farther away you are the more it will cost. If you change your mind and decide you want to pick up the bird you can do this as long as we haven't discussed and paid for shipping. Simply, let us know by responding to your invoice.
Shipping cost is a POST purchase sale. We accept Venmo (friends and family), Zelle, or Apple Pay.
ABOUT OUR BIRDS
We maintain a very small, closed flock and practice very strict bio-security measures. Our birds are hand raised and handled daily. They are pasture raised and supplemented with a non-GMO, six-way scratch feed, non-GMO Grower Feed, and non-GMO layer by local feed company. Additionally, they get herbs, kelp, yogurt, raw milk and grass-fed organ meat.

If you need to contact us in regard to an existing order, please reply to the order confirmation email. This keeps all correspondence tied directly to your order so that we do not lose track of anything that we may agree on. Social Media Messages and direct emails get lost easily with the large number of communications we receive daily.
SHIPPING POLICY
We do NOT guarantee shipped birds. When you check out, you, as the buyer are taking all the risk. We prefer that these roosters are picked up locally. Shipping costs largely depend on the size of the bird and where you are located. We must send via USPS Priority Express Mail. The birds cannot be over 25 lbs. Our USPS-approved juvenile shipping box is 18X18X8 and weighs 1.9 lbs empty. It can hold up to 7 lbs. We will determine shipping costs at the time of shipping. It can range from $75 to $130. We take ZELLE or VENMO.
We ship in USPS-approved poultry shipping boxes and include high-protein hydrogel for their journey.

PICK-UP POLICY
Roosters must be picked up upon the agreed time/day of pickup or additional care fees will be applied at $20 a day.
