ABOUT OUR BIRDS
We maintain a very small, closed flock and follow strict biosecurity protocols to ensure the health and well-being of our birds. All of our chickens are hand-raised and handled daily, resulting in friendly, well-socialized birds.
We are committed to a holistic approach to flock management. Our hens are fed a high-quality, non-GMO layer feed that contains no corn, soy, or wheat. They also receive a non-GMO six-grain scratch blend, and all chicks are started on a non-GMO 18% grower feed sourced from a local feed company.
In addition to their formulated feeds, our birds enjoy natural supplements including herbs, kelp, yogurt, grass-fed organ meats, and fresh grass to support overall health and vitality.

I bought the Speckled Marans Eggs. 11/12 made it to lockdown and all 11 Hatched. I put them in my Brinsea Ovation56 right away at 45% humidity until day 18 and 65% during lockdown.
