This is a Breeders Choice selection of 12 eggs + 2 extra of whatever is available that day. These are a pretty combination of a variety of different colors, speckles, and textures. Some eggs may have speckles, light or heavy blooms, color variations/patterns and be a variety of colors. This dozen CAN include: 2 Black Copper Marans, Burberry BackCross Olive Eggers, Silverrudd, Welsummer, Speckled eggers, Marsummers, Olive Eggers, Welsummer x Crested Cream Legbars (F1OE), Siliverrudd x BackCross Brown (F1OE) and whatever is available at the time of the year they go out. I do my best to include a colorful variety.
This price includes shipping. I can ship 1 dozen (12 eggs) via USPS Priority Mail. I include 2 "extra" of whatever is available that day. These are shipped in Egg Foam Shippers and double boxed. I highly recommend UPS. UPS ground is included in the price. I recommend to upgrade to UPS 2-Day Air or 3-Day Select the farther away you are from SC. If shipping via USPS include "HOLD FOR PICKUP" and the phone number you provided on the invoice. This does NOT guarantee that the Post Office will call you. YOU need to go and speak to them and let them know you want to pick it up. You can purchase heat packs here.
We select for a variety of olive colors, heavy blooms, and lots of speckles. Please keep in mind that our breeding programs are constantly evolving each year with each generation of new layers. Our hens do not lay the same colors from year to year because we are constantly breeding for new unique colors. Each year we move/sell hens as we make room for our new breeding programs. Many of the chicks laid from these eggs in the pictures will lay darker, more brilliant colors, patterns, heavy blooms and speckles. Some will lay true because they are purebred's, for example, Welsummer or BCM.
*We do not take color requests and please do NOT ask for our "darkest" eggs whether it is the Marans or our Olive Eggs.
** You are not getting the EXACT eggs pictured. For current photos, visit our instagram and facebook pages as I post new egg photos daily.

Reviews
The eggs were delivered within two days and the box looked perfect with labels advising fragile load. They were well cushioned with foam inserts and foam on bottom and top in an interior box. It was packaged inside a larger box that was stuffed with packing paper. There was no way these eggs were going to be damaged! They were perfect and beautiful and they are resting right now. I will put them in the incubator in two days. Excited to see what may come! Thank you!!
I ordered a dozen rainbow eggs and also some backcross. Communication was amazing, the eggs arrived perfect. Had 17/28 hatch. Had at least 5 that developed but never pipped. It happens with darker eggs I know. So excited to watch these babies grow.
I received 14 eggs on the June 25th and put them in the incubator that day. Pretty much left them alone until lockdown. Candled the eggs and 2 did not fully develop. I had a broody hen and placed the 12 eggs under the broody hen. 9 of the 12 hatched. 1 of the 3 that didn’t make had been smothered (it was a fully developed shell was crushed under hen) the other 2 just didn’t hatch(not sure why). I feel like this was amazing for being 2 day shipped eggs from SC to AR. Thank you so much for your quality of eggs and super excited to see what the girls eggs look like when they start laying.
Purchased 2 dozen in the fall of last year and picked them up late winter. I live across the mountain in TN so I was by fortunate to be able to not need to depend on the postal service. Even though I picked them up I received them well packaged in the foam egg shippers and I received a total of 28 beautiful eggs! I had not attempted to hatch very dark eggs before and I keep many hens that were bred to brood so I decided to put half under 2 different hens and half in the incubator to better my odds in case I had a failure from one method. I had and excellent hatch from the incubator and from one of my broody hens, one hen unfortunately didn’t get it done so well and I lost 5 potential babies near hatch time. They were also the pure BCM eggs 😢. So I ended up with 17 olive egger and back cross chicks. I lost one chick early on and I had more males than females but I have 7 beautiful pullets that should be laying soon! So excited to show off the eggs when they start coming!!
Easy process. Had an immediate question right after ordering and I received a super quick email response. Can’t wait to get the eggs & add to our flock with these beautiful eggs
