Carefully curated, this collection includes hatching eggs from our renowned BackCross Olive Eggers (BCOE), Silverrudd's and F1 Olive Eggers (F1OE)—each breed contributing its own unique shades of blue and green. This is a selection of 12 eggs + 2 extra. These are a pretty combination of a variety of different shades of green, blue and brown (which are F1OE's. Meaning they will produce a green egg laying hen if it is a hen). Some have speckles and blooms. Every egg will be marked BH for Blue Hue.
This price includes shipping. I prefer UPS over USPS. UPS ground is included in the price. You can upgrade to UPS 2-Day Air or 3 Day Select if you are far away. I include 2 extra of whatever is available that day. These are shipped in Egg Foam Shippers and double boxed. If you choose USPS there is extra cost depending on how far away you are as they have increased their pricing by a lot. I include "HOLD FOR PICKUP" and the phone number you provided on the invoice. This does NOT guarantee that the Post Office will call you. YOU need to go and speak to them and let them know you want to pick it up. You can purchase heat packs here.

Burberry Homestead’s Blu Hue Collection offers a unique selection of hatching eggs from our BackCross projects so they might not all inherit the blue egg gene which means some could lay brown eggs. Additionally, these are from hybrids and not purebred chickens, so results will vary. The egg color you are looking at when you receive the eggs is not the egg color the hens will lay, so please be patient and wait for your flock to mature. At Burberry Homestead, we are committed to supporting urban farmers with diverse, quality genetics and transparent information to help you grow a vibrant, colorful flock.
ABOUT OUR BIRDS
We maintain a very small, closed flock and follow strict biosecurity protocols to ensure the health and well-being of our birds. All of our chickens are hand-raised and handled daily, resulting in friendly, well-socialized birds.
We are committed to a holistic approach to flock management. Our hens are fed a high-quality, non-GMO layer feed that contains no corn, soy, or wheat. They also receive a non-GMO six-grain scratch blend, and all chicks are started on a non-GMO 18% grower feed sourced from a local feed company.
In addition to their formulated feeds, our birds enjoy natural supplements including herbs, kelp, yogurt, grass-fed organ meats, and fresh grass to support overall health and vitality.
